- Each questionnaire completed within five working days from receipt of documents to completion of translations
Survey commissioned to measure the awareness and perception of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. This was a five wave survey, taking awareness and perception ratings prior to, immediately before, at the beginning of the games, during and after. The project consisted of four questionnaires, 4,000-5,000 words per questionnaire, received over the course of two weeks.
Working directly in Confirmit, an online software, tight timings and maintaining quality and terminology consistency between questionnaires. Translating online can present a number of challenges for translators and can slow the translation process down considerably. Our job was to ensure that these issues did not affect the quality and timings of the translation. We achieved this by providing comprehensive guidelines for working in Confirmit and by providing support when issues were encountered. These factors were taken into account and built into the project timings so the survey was able to be launched on time.
