At The Language Factory, we pride ourselves on providing translations of the highest quality. As a result, accountability and quality control are of the utmost importance. We take a number of steps to ensure that our high standards are consistently maintained.
1. We only employ expert translators
Quality control at The Language Factory begins with our translation staff. Our vetting process ensures that we work with only the most qualified and most experienced in the relevant subject matter, which means you do too.
2. Our project managers are translation experts
Our Project Managers are responsible for ensuring that the work we deliver is perfect every time. They will thoroughly check the copy for any potential errors or sticking points. They’ll also communicate any queries over the source text to you to resolve any potential issues.
The Language Factory translation process has recently been awarded ISO 17100 Certification by the UK Association Of Translation Companies. An authoritative 3rd party endorsement of the care and dedication we put into producing successful translation solutions for our clients.
3. You’ll get consistency on larger projects
Where possible, we endeavour to keep the same teams in place for the duration of your project. The same goes for repeat waves or OMNIBUS studies. This ensures your dedicated Project Manager and translators will be well versed with both the brief and preferred terminology throughout the project, eliminating the need to explain twice or thrice!
4. We ONLY use high quality translation software
For your translation, we rely on skilled professional translators: translators with qualifications, skill and experience. We DON’T employ automation techniques or machine translation for any stage in the process. Our software is simply there to guarantee consistent use of terminology and phraseology across multiple projects. We use a Computer-Aided Translation tool (CAT tool) called SDL Trados.
5. We’re constantly aiming to improve
We always ask our clients to give feedback on their experience after each project is completed. Our aim is to be better, every single time, and to ensure that our next job is always our best job.
